Terrific Women In Giving are so much more than a group of women devoted to raising money for Dayton Children’s Hospital.
TWIGs is about friendship, finding purpose in giving and supporting one another.
Over the past several years the membership of TWIGs has been decreasing and we are striving to keep this community going. Many who are TWIGs have been so for years and we are looking for second life for our organization. Please consider joining this amazing group and help us grow this amazing community of women.
“She who lives unto herself alone does not live at all. It is only by losing ourselves in the service of others that we come into the glorious fullness of life by becoming one with it. ” –Dorothy Sargent, Former TWIG #31/ Historian.

“A TWIG – is the branch of a tree. Imagine if the trunk of a tree was Dayton Children’s Hospital. The TWIGs are the branches that support the trunk – the TWIGs are these nice ladies and there are a lot of them, just like how many twigs there are on a tree. TWIGS give the trunk shelter from the sun, adjust to the wind, soak up the rain…so the trunk can grow up to be a big strong tree. Without the TWIGs the trunk would surely die.”
– Maureen Beach, mother of past child ambassador Colin Beach
